The useful idea

An effective AI-assisted FAQ starts with real questions and approved answers. Ask a tool to organize and clarify that material, then check every answer before adding it to your website or customer-service process.

Make it work for you.

1. Collect recurring questions.

Gather a small set of questions about your services, process and availability. Remove personal details from customer messages.

2. Add approved facts.

Provide the source for each answer: service descriptions, current policies or an approved price sheet. Identify questions that need a person to respond.

3. Draft concise answers.

Ask for direct, natural responses. Keep the useful details visible on your website rather than hiding everything inside a chatbot.

4. Check and maintain.

Review claims, contact details and handoffs. Record who owns each answer and when the underlying policy changes.

A starting point you can copy.

Replace the brackets with your own approved information. Use this with a tool your organization allows.

YOUR REUSABLE PROMPT
Create a customer FAQ using only these sources.
Questions: [QUESTIONS]
Approved information: [SOURCE FACTS]

For each question, provide:
1. A concise answer in plain language.
2. The supplied fact supporting it.
3. Any missing information.
4. Whether a human should handle the question.

Do not infer prices, availability or guarantees.

Check before you use it.

If the answer depends on live availability, a quote or an unusual customer situation, provide a route to a person instead of guessing.

Keep the source information next to the draft. Confirm facts, remove unsupported claims and decide what still needs a person’s judgment.

Make it repeatable.

Save the useful inputs and the steps you followed. Record what you changed. When the task or tool changes, run the same checks again.
